The LFAJ (Ligue Française des Auberges de Jeunesse – French league of youth hostels) first historic network of Youth Hostels in France SINCE 1930 with the objective of encouraging TRAVEL, exploration of the world, meetings, exchange and living together.
All Youth Hostels belonging to the network provide high-quality hosting.
LFAJ is an Association governed by law 1901 not for profit on Social and Fair Tourism. All Hostels in the French league of Youth Hostels are ASSOCIATIVE and fair with a charter to which all young and less young participants, users, employees and volunteers are committed.
The LFAJ hostels welcome travellers as individuals, educational or sports groups… or even families in rooms with 1 to 8/10 beds. They offer good-quality accommodation combining affordability with comfort, security and friendliness.
In addition, some LFAJ Youth Hostels offer multiple sports and cultural activities, as well as appropriate trips for every audience group anchored in the local landscape.

Youth Hostels of UIAJPF
The non profit-making Union Internationale des Auberges de Jeunesse des Pays Francophones (UIAJPF, the international union of Francophone country youth hostels) Association, created in 2004 on the initiative of the LFAJ (Ligue Française des Auberges de Jeunesse), whose main members now are the national associations, leagues or federations, grouping together the youth hostels of a Francophone country.
